Having completed the 12 days of Christmas on Twelfth Night, we will celebrate Epiphany and burn our Christmas greenery.. The Christmas greenery has served its purpose and the fire burning from these celebrates the light and warmth of Christ coming into the world on one of the darkest (and often one of the coldest) nights of the year.
Epiphany celebrates the light of Christ being revealed to the wider world, symbolized by the visit to the manger by the Three Wise Men (or Magi).
